National Women's T20 Tournament 2026 starts today in Faisalabad: 5 teams, 22 matches, final on 25 October

Fatima Sana leads Strikers and Stars defend the title as 75 players chase Rs 1.5 million in prize money. Squads, captains, format and the final date.

The National Women's T20 Tournament 2026-27 starts today, Saturday 10 October, in Faisalabad, with five teams, 22 league matches and a final on Sunday 25 October at Iqbal Stadium, according to the tournament details the PCB released, as reported by ProPakistani.

It is the main domestic T20 competition for Pakistan's women and the place where selectors look for the next national players, with 75 cricketers taking part.

Format and prize money

  • Teams: Challengers, Conquerors, Invincibles, Stars and Strikers.
  • Format: double league, so each team plays every other team twice. The top two reach the final.
  • Final: 25 October, Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.
  • Prize money: more than Rs 3 million in all: Rs 1.5 million for the winners and Rs 1 million for the runners-up.
  • Defending champions: Stars, who beat Invincibles in last season's final.

Six Pakistan Under-19 players are in the women's tri-series in Faisalabad and will join their teams once their national duty ends.
