BISE Gujranwala fee increase: rechecking now Rs 2,000, IBCC verification Rs 4,100
The board raised seven fees at its 19 September meeting. Admission processing is up 30% to Rs 1,300, and a private HSSC candidate rechecking two papers now pays Rs 1,300 more.
BISE Gujranwala has raised the fees students pay for admission processing, rechecking, IBCC verification and practical exams. The new rates were approved at the board's meeting on 19 September 2026 and apply to forms and applications submitted from now on, including the inter second annual exam that opens on 3 November.
The biggest jump is for IBCC verification, up Rs 1,000 a copy. Rechecking a paper now costs Rs 2,000.

What it means for a student
A private HSSC candidate with practicals who also wants two papers rechecked now pays Rs 1,300 processing, Rs 1,100 practical fee and Rs 4,000 for rechecking: Rs 6,400, against Rs 5,100 under the old rates, before the per-paper exam fee itself.
A student going abroad who needs three copies verified for IBCC pays Rs 12,300 instead of Rs 9,300.
Who is affected
The board covers Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Narowal, Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin districts. Fees at the other eight Punjab boards are set by each board, so these new rates apply only to BISE Gujranwala candidates.
What to do
- If you are sitting the inter second annual exam 2026, apply in the single-fee window that ends on 6 October. The late fee doubles or triples the per-paper fee on top of the new processing charge.
- Before paying Rs 2,000 a copy for rechecking, compare your marks with the 12th class result 2026 gazette to see how close you are to the next grade.
- Print the challan from the board's own portal and pay at the listed bank. Do not pay an agent who offers to "fast track" rechecking.
- Keep your challan receipt until the result or verification is issued.
