MDCAT 2026 result: Sindh final out today, Punjab 37,708 of 47,475 qualify

Updated Monday 28 September 2026, 3:45pm PKT: the Sindh MDCAT 2026 final result is out. Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS), which ran the test in Sindh on 20 September, uploaded the final result on its website today, after a provisional result on 25 September and a complaints window that closed at 5pm on 26 September. About 33,926 candidates sat the paper at nine centres in Karachi (two), Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana and Sukkur. The pass marks are the national ones: 55 per cent for MBBS and 50 per cent for BDS. STS has not yet published a qualified count.

Sindh candidates: check your score on the STS result page with your roll number or CNIC, then put it into the MDCAT aggregate calculator with your HSC and SSC marks. Admission to public medical and dental colleges in Sindh runs through the provincial admission process that follows the final result, so keep the score sheet and roll number safe.

Updated 25 September 2026: the Punjab MDCAT 2026 result is out. The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore declared it on Thursday 24 September, four days after the 20 September test. Earlier updates on the test date and the aggregate are kept below.

That means about 9,770 candidates who sat the paper fell short of the MBBS mark, and 7,018 missed both MBBS and BDS.

The top band is crowded. With 8,454 candidates at 160 or above, a single MDCAT mark can move you hundreds of places on the public sector merit list, which is why the FSc and Matric marks matter so much this year.

How to check the UHS MDCAT result

1. Go to uhs.edu.pk and open the MDCAT 2026 result link on the home page.
2. Enter your roll number, or search by name.
3. Save or print the result page. You will need the score and roll number on the admission form.

UHS says the result list does not by itself confer any right to admission or a certificate. For problems with the result, the UHS helpline is 042-99231304 to 10.

Candidates who sat the paper in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan or Islamabad get their result from the body that conducted their test, and PMDC also carries results on its MDCAT result page. We will add each province here once it is official.

What to do next

1. Calculate the aggregate and compare it with last year's closing merit for the colleges you want, public and private separately.
2. Watch the UHS admissions page for the MBBS and BDS application schedule. The MDCAT result is the entry ticket; the admission form is a separate deadline.
3. If you are short for MBBS but above 90, apply for BDS as well.
4. Keep your MDCAT roll number slip and the CNIC you registered with. Both are asked for again.

Earlier: 22 September, before the result

MDCAT 2026 was held on 20 September, a month later than planned. PMDC had advertised 16 August, then issued a public alert rescheduling the test to 20 September "to ensure the smooth, secure and transparent conduct of the examination", saying all other terms stayed the same. Registration on the MDCAT portal closed before the test.

PMDC publishes results on its own result page at pmdc.pk/result/MDCATResult; the registration portal at mdcat.pmdc.pk shows only that registration has closed. Do not pay anyone for an "early result". There is no early result.

The qualifying marks are 55 per cent for MBBS and 50 per cent for BDS.
