Ten Sports live 2026: how to watch in Pakistan, and why Pakistan's home matches are on PTV

Ten Sports live is still one of the most searched sports phrases in Pakistan, but the channel does not have this season's biggest cricket. Pakistan's 2026-27 home internationals (25 matches, October 2026 to March 2027) are on PTV Sports on TV and Tamasha online, because PTV was the only bidder for the TV rights, ProPakistani reported on 5 October 2026. Ten Sports was one of the four TV channels for PSL 11 earlier this year, alongside A Sports, PTV Sports and Geo Super.

What is Ten Sports?

Ten Sports is a Pakistani sports channel run by Tower Sports, with offices in Karachi and Dubai and commentary in Urdu and English. Hum Network bought Tower Sports in October 2022 for Rs 150 million, according to a Pakistan Stock Exchange filing cited on the channel's Wikipedia page. The channel switched to HD on 5 July 2022 and shows cricket, football, mixed martial arts and tennis, depending on which rights it holds at the time.

Rights change every season, and that is why searches go wrong. Two examples:

• ICC events: in March 2024 the ICC gave Tower Sports (Ten Sports Pakistan) and PTV non-exclusive TV and digital rights to ICC men's and women's events up to the end of 2025. That deal has ended; we could not find a published ICC award for Pakistan covering 2026, so check the broadcaster before each ICC event.
• Pakistan home cricket: the 2026-27 home season went to PTV for Rs 350 million and the digital rights to Tamasha, so a Pakistan home Test or ODI this winter is not a Ten Sports match.

What Ten Sports showed this year

• PSL 11 (2026): Ten Sports HD was one of the four TV channels in Pakistan, with A Sports, PTV Sports and Geo Super, according to ProPakistani and Wisden. Online, the PSL streamed on Tapmad, Tamasha and Myco.
• Other sport: Ten Sports's own pages list cricket, football, combat sports and tennis, but the channel's official website (tensports.com.pk) could not be reached when we checked on 20 and 21 October 2026, so we cannot list its schedule for the rest of this season. We will add it when the channel publishes it.

How to watch Ten Sports live on TV: step by step

1. Cable: Ten Sports is carried by cable operators, and each operator sets its own channel number. Open your channel list and look for "Ten Sports" or "Ten Sports HD", or ask your operator. There is no single national channel number.
2. Choose HD: if your operator offers Ten Sports HD, pick it; the channel has broadcast in HD since July 2022.
3. IPTV box: if you use a telecom IPTV service, look in its sports section or channel guide.
4. Satellite dish: run an automatic channel scan on your receiver. If Ten Sports has vanished, the channel has probably moved frequency, and a fresh scan usually finds it.
5. Check the match first: before a big game, confirm that Ten Sports actually has it. For Pakistan home matches this season, switch to PTV Sports.

How to stream matches on your phone legally

2. Install the app from the official store only (Google Play or the App Store), and check the developer name. Several apps use "Ten Sports" in their name; we could not confirm an official Ten Sports streaming app, so do not pay or sign in to one unless the channel itself links to it.
3. Sign in 10 minutes before the start and open the live match from the home screen.
4. Pick the video quality: lower on mobile data, highest on Wi-Fi.

Websites to avoid

Search results for "ten sports live" are crowded with sites that use the channel's name. On 21 October 2026 the site tensportstv.com, which ranks for the phrase, was mostly publishing casino, crypto betting and "Aviator" game articles rather than the channel's programming. Sites like this:

• show pop-ups and fake "update your player" downloads that can carry malware;
• push betting, which is illegal in Pakistan;
• drop the stream mid-over or show a delayed, pirated feed.

Use your TV, or an app from the rights holder.

When the Ten Sports picture or stream fails: fixes

1. "No signal" on cable: the operator may be changing its line-up. Restart the box, re-scan, or call the operator.
2. Satellite channel lost: run a fresh scan on the receiver.
3. Buffering at the toss or after a wicket: that is network load. Drop the quality one step.
4. Black screen in an app: close the app fully and reopen it, or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
5. "Content not available": update the app. If the match still does not appear, that app probably does not hold the rights to it.

Common mistakes

• Assuming Ten Sports has every Pakistan match. It does not have Pakistan's 2026-27 home season; PTV Sports and Tamasha do.
• Trusting a site because "Ten Sports" is in its address. Check who runs it before you click play.
