Why so many people searched for it

"Oman vs Afghanistan" was one of the most searched cricket terms in Pakistan on Friday, with more than 5,000 searches according to Google Trends. Afghanistan's youth teams are followed closely here, and many fans first checked whether it was a senior match. It was not: this is an under-19 bilateral tour of Oman.

What a 365-run win means

A total of 462 is rare at any level of 50-over cricket, and a 365-run margin shows how far apart the two youth sides are. Afghanistan's senior team has been built largely on players who came through its age-group system, so its under-19 results are watched closely in the region.
