PSG vs Lyon: PSG win 2-0 to go top of Ligue 1 after police-ordered postponement
Senny Mayulu and Mika Godts scored late as the match moved from Sunday to Monday night at the Paris police's request. Sevilla beat Osasuna by the same score.

PSG vs Lyon ended 2-0 to Paris Saint-Germain on Monday night, a result that put the champions back on top of Ligue 1, one point clear of Rennes. The match kicked off at about 12:30am on Tuesday in Pakistan, a day later than planned, after the Paris Police Prefecture asked for it to be moved. The Associated Press reported the goals and the table.
How the game went
Both sides started the night on 14 points. Lyon held PSG off for most of the match until Senny Mayulu, seven minutes after coming off the bench, drove in a shot from about 18 metres. Twelve minutes later Mika Godts finished a fast break to make it 2-0.
It was PSG's eighth straight win in all competitions. Lyon stay fifth. Desire Doue was seen down on the pitch in pain during the match; PSG had given no update on him by Tuesday morning.
Why PSG vs Lyon was moved
The fixture was meant to close Matchday 8 on Sunday 25 October. The Paris Police Prefecture ordered it moved because large numbers of officers were needed for a second wave of demonstrations in France, and the league (LFP) said in a statement that it had "acknowledged the order" and moved the match to Monday in agreement with broadcaster Ligue 1+, beIN Sports reported. Toulouse vs Troyes and two Ligue 2 games were also postponed.
The new slot clashed with the Ballon d'Or in London, so PSG's delegation missed the ceremony where the club was named men's club of the year. Harry Kane won the main award (our story).
Sevilla vs Osasuna: 2-0 as well
In La Liga, Sevilla ended a four-game run without a win by beating Osasuna 2-0. Isaac Romero scored after 24 minutes from Youssouf Fofana's layoff, his third goal in three games, and Felix Correia added the second eight minutes from time. Sevilla are sixth; Osasuna stay 12th.
