Man United 0-3 Bournemouth: Carrick's side 16th, one place above the drop, as Liverpool beat Brighton
Bruno Fernandes was benched, fans left early and Carrick said he does not know what comes next. Liverpool won at home for the first time this season.

Manchester United lost 3-0 at home to Bournemouth on Sunday, leaving Michael Carrick's side 16th in the Premier League, one place above the relegation zone, with seven points. Liverpool, meanwhile, beat Brighton 2-0 at Anfield for their first home league win of the season, according to a match report carried by TimesLIVE.
United have not won a league game since beating Ipswich Town 5-2 on 30 August.
Manchester United 0-3 Bournemouth
Rayan put Bournemouth ahead in the 38th minute and Marcus Tavernier made it 2-0 before half-time. Evanilson added the third after the break.
Bruno Fernandes started on the bench after criticising Carrick's tactics following the 4-1 Champions League defeat to Como in midweek. Fans left Old Trafford in growing numbers before the end and there were boos at full time, though those who stayed cheered Carrick as he walked off.
Asked by Sky Sports if this had been a farewell, Carrick said it was not, but added: "What it looks like and what's next I really don't know." Stand-in captain Harry Maguire said: "We're not doing enough as players."
Liverpool 2-0 Brighton
Liverpool were ahead after 17 minutes when Pascal Gross deflected a Florian Wirtz shot into his own net. Four minutes later Alexander Isak scored from Bradley Barcola's pass. The win lifts Liverpool to fourth on 15 points, one behind Brighton.
