Anthropic files for Nasdaq IPO under ticker ANT; listing could come as early as November
The Claude maker's S-1 does not yet set a share count or price. The Financial Times says investors expect a $1.5 trillion to $1.75 trillion valuation.
Anthropic, the American company behind the Claude AI models, filed for a stock market listing on Monday 26 October 2026. Its registration statement on Form S-1 with the US Securities and Exchange Commission covers an initial public offering of Class A shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker "ANT", the company said in its own announcement. The number of shares and the price range have not been set yet.

The valuation talk
No valuation is in the filing yet. CoinDesk reported that investors, according to the Financial Times, expect a value of $1.5 trillion to $1.75 trillion, and that pricing is aimed at mid-November. Analysts at Lightshed, quoted by CBS, put the range of outcomes bluntly: Anthropic "could become the most valuable company in the world. It could also end up in bankruptcy."
Chip stocks rose before the US open on the news, CoinDesk said: Nvidia was up 1.4%, Broadcom 1.5% and Micron 2.3%.
Can investors in Pakistan buy it?
Not through the Pakistan Stock Exchange. Pakistanis who want US shares need a foreign brokerage account, and sending money abroad for investment is limited by State Bank foreign exchange rules, so check with your bank first. In rupees, a $1.5 trillion valuation is roughly Rs 415 trillion at today's rate; see the dollar rate page or the currency converter.
Why it matters
The listing would be one of the biggest ever and a test of how much public investors will pay for AI companies that spend heavily on chips and data centres. Earlier this month Anthropic set aside 5% of its shares in a public benefit fund; see our earlier report.
