• The middle overs: Axar Patel, hit for 63 in 3.3 overs in Ranchi, came back to slow West Indies down, and part-timers Naman Dhir and Nitish Kumar Reddy chipped in. Arshdeep and Prince Yadav closed it with yorkers.

It was the first time in six attempts on this tour that a side batting first had defended its total, after West Indies chased 250 in the 2nd T20I in Ranchi on Friday behind Hope's 102 not out (our report).
