Mitchell Starc takes No 1 spot in ICC Test bowling rankings from Marco Jansen
A nine-wicket final Test in South Africa lifted the Australian past Jansen, while spinner Simon Harmer jumped nine places to seventh.

Australia fast bowler Mitchell Starc has moved to the top of the ICC Test bowling rankings, taking the number one spot from South Africa's Marco Jansen, Business Recorder reports.
What happened
Starc, 36, was the leading wicket-taker in the recently concluded series in South Africa, with 15 wickets in three Tests. Australia lost the final Test and the series 2-1, but Starc finished with nine wickets in that match, including a first-innings 6-72.
Jansen's short stay
Jansen had taken the top position in the bowlers' and all-rounders' rankings only last week, after a strong bat and ball display in the second Test. Starc's performance in the third Test moved him back above the South African.
Harmer climbs
South Africa spinner Simon Harmer was named Player of the Match in the third Test after taking his first 10-wicket match haul, and climbed nine places to seventh.
