Punjab Medical Faculty admission 2026: 17 paramedical diplomas after matric, apply by 20 Nov

Punjab Medical Faculty admissions 2026 are open. The Punjab Medical Faculty (PMF) has invited applications for 17 two-year paramedical diploma courses at government medical training institutions across Punjab for the 2026-28 session, and students who have passed matric with science can apply online until 20 November 2026, according to the admission notice reported by ProPakistani.

For a student who does not want, or cannot afford, two more years of FSc before a career in health, these diplomas are a direct route into hospital jobs as a technician.

The 17 paramedical diplomas

All courses last two years:

• Laboratory and diagnostics: Medical Laboratory Technician, Radiography and Imaging Technician, Endoscopy Technician, Cardiac Technician
• Hospital and theatre: Operation Theatre Technician, Anesthesia Technician, Central Sterilization Technician, Dialysis Technician
• Dental: Dental Technician, Dental Hygienist, Dental Surgery Assistant
• Pharmacy and eyes: Dispenser Technician, Pharmacy Assistant, Ophthalmic Technician, Dispensing Opticianry
• Others: Physiotherapy Technician, Public Health Technician

Who can apply

• Matric with physics, chemistry and biology
• At least second division in matric
• At least 45% combined in the three science subjects
• No upper age limit is stated in the notice

Extra marks and quotas: a 2% quota is reserved for candidates with disabilities (with 20 additional merit marks on a medical board certificate), and a hafiz-e-Quran gets 10 additional marks with a certificate from a recognised institution.

Fee and documents

• Application fee Rs 500, non-refundable, paid through a challan generated on the online portal. Bank drafts and pay orders are not accepted.
• Matric certificate or result card
• Domicile certificate
• CNIC or B-Form
• A recent passport-size photograph
• Disability or hifz certificate if you claim the extra marks

How to apply, step by step

1. Open the Punjab Medical Faculty online admission portal and create an account.
2. Enter your matric marks, including the science subject marks.
3. Choose up to five course and institution preferences, in the order you want them. Once you get admission on one preference, the rest lapse, so put your real first choice first.
4. Generate the Rs 500 challan, pay it as the portal instructs and keep the paid copy.
5. Upload the documents and submit before 20 November 2026.
