University of Peshawar Fall 2026 admissions close 27 September

The University of Peshawar has opened Fall 2026 admissions for its four-year BS programmes, and the last date to apply is 27 September 2026. Seats are limited and the university says places are filled on a first come, first served basis, so the closing date is not the useful date: the day the seats run out is.

What is on offer

More than 50 BS programmes are open across science, arts, social sciences, management and technology. The list includes the long-running departments and a set of newer ones that Peshawar students have been asking about:

• Accounting and Finance
• Biotechnology
• Business Intelligence and Analytics
• Media and Communication Studies
• Robotics and Intelligent Systems
• Tourism and Hotel Management
• Fashion Designing and Interior Design (open to female students only)

How to apply

Applications are submitted through the university's admission portal at uop.edu.pk. The BS Brochure 2026 on the same site carries the part most applicants skip and then get caught by: the exact eligibility line for each department, the seat allocation, the quota breakdown and the fee schedule. Two departments in the same faculty often do not have the same minimum marks requirement.

The mistakes that cost people a seat

Applying late in a first come, first served system. In a merit-only system the deadline is when you compete. Here, a popular department can close before 27 September. Apply in the first few days.

Applying to one department. Most applicants list a single choice, then have nothing to fall back on when their marks miss the cut for that department by a fraction. The portal allows preferences; use them.

Getting the aggregate wrong. Work out your own percentage before you choose departments rather than after the merit list is out. Our CGPA calculator converts between grade point and percentage so you can see where you actually sit.

Missing documents. Matric and intermediate detailed marks certificates, CNIC or B-Form, domicile and photographs are the usual set. A scanned document that is unreadable is treated as a missing document at scrutiny.

Fees

The university has not published a single flat figure: fees differ by programme and are listed in the BS Brochure 2026. Self-finance seats, where a department offers them, cost more than open-merit seats. Check the exact number for your department before you pay the challan, because the challan is generated per programme.

If you miss it

UoP is not the only option in the city on this timeline. Several KP public universities run their fall cycles through late September and early October, and private universities in Peshawar generally keep admissions open longer. But a missed deadline at UoP means waiting for the next intake, so treat 27 September as hard.
