GTA VI launch trailer out: 90 seconds, 19 November release, 6pm PKT
Rockstar dropped a 90-second Vice City launch trailer at 6pm PKT on 15 October, reconfirming a 19 November release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. PC is still unannounced.
Rockstar Games released a new 90-second "launch" trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI on Thursday 15 October, and it repeated the release date: 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The clip appeared on Rockstar's channels at 2pm BST, which is 6pm Pakistan time (PKT), according to RockstarINTEL.
What the trailer shows
The Verge described it as a brief clip that does not reveal much new but gives a good sense of the game's Miami-style atmosphere in Vice City. Insider Gaming says it includes bank heists, police chases and quieter moments between the two leads, Jason and Lucia.
Rockstar says the footage was captured entirely on a standard PlayStation 5. The trailer also carries a new short story description: Jason and Lucia know the deck is stacked against them, and when an easy score goes wrong they end up in a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida.
The music is a new single by the electronic duo Justice, who compose the game's original score. The track, "Flower in a Hurricane", features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. It will also appear on the official soundtrack album.
Release date and platforms
Rockstar's own Grand Theft Auto VI page lists the game as "Coming November 19, 2026" for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no confirmed PC date. Our earlier report on a reported PC release by March 2027 is based on reports only, and Rockstar has not confirmed it.

Price and what it means in rupees
TechRadar reported from Rockstar's press release that the Standard Edition costs $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition $99.99 in the US. Pre-orders before 20 November 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack.
At today's dollar rate of Rs 276.92 (see USD to PKR), that works out to roughly Rs 22,150 for the Standard Edition and Rs 27,690 for the Ultimate Edition before any local taxes, shipping or retailer margin. Pakistani buyers should expect store prices to differ. You can run your own numbers in the currency converter.
Why a launch trailer a month early
The Verge pointed out the odd timing: this is a "launch" trailer released a full month before launch. Rockstar's last long look was the "extended look" gameplay video in August. Industry sites, including Insider Gaming, treat this clip as the final major trailer before release.
Rockstar has not announced a console price for Pakistan or any local retail partners. The game arrives 13 years after Grand Theft Auto V.
