Jay-Z to headline the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show at SoFi Stadium on 14 February

Jay-Z will headline the Super Bowl halftime show on 14 February 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation announced on Monday night (early Tuesday in Pakistan), CBS News reported.

The announcement came with a short video of the rapper at SoFi surrounded by goats, captioned "GOAT's out of the bag." He recently closed his "Jay-Z 30" concert run at the same stadium.

From producer to performer

Jay-Z's company Roc Nation has been the NFL's entertainment partner since 2019, advising on and helping produce the league's shows, including the halftime show. When that deal was struck, he told NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell that if the conversation was about him performing, it could end there. Seven years later, he has changed his mind.

Recent headliners include Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd. Bad Bunny played last season's show and the next morning held the top six places on Spotify's US Top 50. Jay-Z's wife Beyonce has performed at two Super Bowls.
