Le Havre vs PSG finished 1-5 on Friday night (Saturday early morning in Pakistan), with Achraf Hakimi scoring the first hat-trick of his career and setting up two more goals. The win keeps Paris Saint-Germain top of Ligue 1 and gave Luis Enrique his 127th win as PSG coach, one more than Laurent Blanc and a club record, ESPN reported.

How the goals came

Le Havre, winless and bottom of the table, went ahead through Josh Maja in the 18th minute. PSG then took over, and the Moroccan right-back was involved in every one of their five goals:

  1. Mika Godts equalised from a Hakimi assist.
  2. Hakimi put PSG ahead with a neat finish about two minutes later.
  3. Hakimi curled in a free kick from about 20 yards early in the second half.
  4. Senny Mayulu made it 4-1 after a Hakimi through ball.
  5. Hakimi completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute.

Hakimi, 27, had not scored a goal this season before Friday. ESPN counts it as the 486th game of his career and his first hat-trick.

Where it leaves PSG

The reigning French and European champions have now won nine games in a row in all competitions and six in a row in the league, after taking only one point from their first three Ligue 1 matches. Luis Enrique made five changes from Monday's 2-0 win over Lyon (our report) and is still without Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who tore his right ACL against Barcelona (our story).

For anyone searching "Le Havre AC vs PSG standings": PSG stay first in Ligue 1, and Le Havre stay bottom without a win.

Watching from Pakistan

Friday-night Ligue 1 matches end after midnight in Pakistan, so most fans here woke up to this result. With Europe's clocks back an hour since 25 October, France is now four hours behind Pakistan until late March; our story on the clock change sets out the new gaps for London and New York too.
