New England vs Inter Miami 1-2: Messi's late winner, his 26th MLS goal

Inter Miami beat New England Revolution 2-1 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Sunday 1 November, with Lionel Messi scoring the winner in the 83rd minute, Field Level Media and Gulf News reported. "New England vs Inter Miami" was the most searched query in Pakistan on Monday morning, with more than 5,000 Google searches.
New England vs Inter Miami: the goals
- 53' Daniel Gazdag (New England), 1-0, set up by Peyton Miller after a backheel from Ilay Feingold.

One round of the regular season is left. Miami host Charlotte FC on 7 November, and the regular season closes on 8 November, with playoff seeding in the East still open.
Messi's recent form is on our earlier reports: the 2-2 draw with Cincinnati and the 3-1 win over Atlanta United, when he reached 25 goals. Pakistan is now 10 hours ahead of US Eastern Time after the US clock change, so most MLS evening games start between 4am and 6am PKT.
