Rays vs Brewers World Series: Game 1 at 5am PKT Saturday, full schedule

The 2026 World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Milwaukee Brewers starts with Game 1 in Milwaukee on Friday 23 October at 8pm US Eastern time, which is 5am on Saturday 24 October in Pakistan, according to MLB's schedule. Every game has an 8pm ET first pitch, so every game starts at 5am PKT the next morning.

Neither club has won the title before, so the best-of-seven series will produce a first-time champion.

World Series 2026 schedule in Pakistan time

*If necessary. Pakistan is nine hours ahead of US Eastern time until the US clocks go back on 1 November, after the last possible game.

Why Milwaukee has home advantage

The Brewers finished the regular season 103-59, a franchise record and the most wins in the Majors for a second year running, against the Rays' 98-64. That gives Milwaukee Games 1, 2, 6 and 7 at American Family Field, and Tampa Bay Games 3, 4 and 5, MLB said.

How the Brewers got here

Milwaukee beat the San Diego Padres in four games in the NL Division Series, then swept the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0 in the NL Championship Series. Jake Bauers was named NLCS MVP. It is the Brewers' first World Series since 1982.

How the Rays got here

Tampa Bay won 98 games, the most in the American League, took the top seed and a first-round bye, swept the New York Yankees in the AL Division Series and beat the Cleveland Guardians in six games in the ALCS.

They clinched with a 7-3 win in Game 6 on Monday 19 October at Tropicana Field in front of 40,230 fans, MLB.com reported. Richie Palacios hit a two-run double in the second inning, Junior Caminero and Yandy Diaz each hit two-run home runs, and Bryan Baker retired all three batters in the ninth. Starter Freddy Peralta was named ALCS MVP.

It is the Rays' third pennant, and it came 18 years to the day after their first, a 3-1 Game 7 win over the Boston Red Sox on 19 October 2008. They also reached the World Series in 2020. Manager Kevin Cash has been there for all three clinchers.

How to follow it from Pakistan

In the US every game is on FOX, FOX Deportes and the FOX One app. MLB says its international rights holders will carry the series in 16 languages in more than 200 countries and territories, according to its broadcast announcement; it does not name a Pakistan broadcaster, so check MLB's own app and site for live scores. With first pitch at 5am, Game 1 ends around breakfast time in Karachi and Lahore on Saturday.
