iPhone Duo price in Pakistan: Rs 899,999 for 256GB, up to Rs 1,390,000 for 2TB, PTA approved

Update, Saturday 24 October 2026: retailer Telemart has listed the iPhone Duo above Mercantile's launch prices: Rs 999,599 (256GB), Rs 1,079,599 (512GB), Rs 1,239,599 (1TB) and Rs 1,479,599 (2TB), all PTA approved, with delivery expected in the last week of November, ProPakistani reported. That is Rs 99,600 more than Mercantile for the base model and Rs 89,599 more for 2TB. Some other shops list it lower, but stock is limited and prices may rise. Mercantile, Apple's authorised distributor, remains the cheapest official route we have seen.

The iPhone Duo price in Pakistan starts at Rs 899,999 for the 256GB model and goes up to Rs 1,390,000 for 2TB, Apple's authorised distributor Mercantile announced on Friday 23 October 2026, the day Apple's first foldable phone began shipping worldwide, ProPakistani reported. Every unit sold through Mercantile is PTA approved and carries a one-year official Apple warranty.

The jump from the base model to the top one is Rs 490,001. At the interbank rate on our dollar page (about Rs 276.85 on 23 October), the base model works out to roughly $3,250.

How it compares with the iPhone 18 Pro

Mercantile launched the iPhone 18 Pro at Rs 565,000 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at Rs 605,000 last month (see our iPhone 18 Pro Max price story). The cheapest iPhone Duo therefore costs Rs 334,999 more than the iPhone 18 Pro and Rs 294,999 more than the Pro Max.

What you get

• Two screens: a 7.6-inch inner display, the largest on any iPhone, with an under-display camera, and a 5.4-inch outer display. Both work with Apple Pencil.
• Chip: the A20 Pro, the same as the iPhone 18 Pro models, with Apple's C2 modem.
• eSIM only: there is no physical SIM tray, so check that your network supports eSIM before you buy.
• Cameras: two 48MP cameras (main and ultrawide), 2x optical zoom, no telephoto lens.
• Build: 5.2mm thick open, 11.3mm folded, 254 grams, with a grade 5 aluminium hinge.
• Unlock: Touch ID in the side button; there is no Face ID.
• Battery: Apple claims up to 44 hours of video playback on the outer screen.

Apple announced the phone on 9 September and opened pre-orders on 16 October.

Official or imported: the tax question

Buying from Mercantile means the PTA tax is already paid. A phone brought in from Dubai or the US has to be registered with PTA and taxed before it works on a Pakistani SIM, and on a phone of this value that tax is large. Should you buy now?

NDTV and other international outlets report short supply and high demand at launch, so early stock in Pakistan may be limited. If you are paying close to Rs 1 million for a phone, buy only from Mercantile or an authorised Apple reseller, ask for the warranty card, and check the IMEI on PTA's DIRBS system before you pay.
