Air Link Communication Limited (PSX: AIRLINK) has launched its electric bike brand, AirV, in Pakistan with 11 models across six series, ProPakistani reported. The launch ceremony is being held in Lahore on 4 November 2026. Earlier reports, including a research note by brokerage Arif Habib Limited (AHL) that Business Recorder reported, had called the brand Air EV.
Prices were not given in the ProPakistani report. We will add them when Air Link publishes them.
AirV: what we know
- Launch: 4 November 2026, ceremony in Lahore.
- Models: 11 models in six series.
- Range: up to 200 km, depending on the variant.
- Features: cruise control, regenerative battery technology, Near Field Communication (NFC) and anti-theft systems.
- Where it is made: Air Link's existing facility in the Sundar Green Special Economic Zone (SGSEZ), Lahore.
- Buyers: individuals and enterprise customers, with plans to build a scalable electric mobility business.
From the earlier AHL note: deliveries were expected about a week after launch, batteries are replaceable lithium-ion packs, local content is meant to rise to up to 95% over time, and buy-now-pay-later instalments through Airfin were to be extended to electric bikes. Check these against the launch details, since the final terms may differ.
Why replaceable batteries matter
A removable pack can usually be carried indoors and charged at home, which suits flats and houses without parking next to a plug. It also means a worn-out battery can be replaced without replacing the bike. How much a spare pack will cost is one of the numbers to watch at the launch.

A crowded electric bike market
AirV arrives as several companies chase the same buyers. OKLA launched nine electric bikes and scooters in September priced from Rs 199,000 to Rs 699,000, and Millat is entering the market with swappable batteries too. The federal government's draft EV policy 2025-30 proposes an Rs 80,000 subsidy on electric bikes, and Punjab is running its own e-bike scheme.
The rest of Airlink's plans
According to the AHL note, management expects BNPL to support net margins and make up for slower mobile phone sales. The brokerage projects Airlink will sell 65,000 air conditioners in 2027 and 95,000 in 2028, and 50,000 televisions in 2027 and 65,000 in 2028.
Airlink was set up in January 2014 and became a public limited company in April 2019. It imports, assembles and distributes smartphones, tablets and laptop accessories.
